MANHATTAN NIGHT
Adapted from the New York Times Notable Book of the Year, MANHATTAN NOCTURNE by Colin Harrison, MANHATTAN NIGHT is the story of a Manhattan tabloid newspaper columnist with an appetite for scandal. On the beat, Porter Wren (Adrien Brody) sells murder, tragedy, and anything that passes for the truth. At home, he is a dedicated husband to Lisa (Jennifer Beals) and father of two young children. But when seductive stranger, Caroline Crowley (Yvonne Strahovski) asks for his help with the unsolved death of her famous filmmaker husband Simon, (Campbell Scott) Porter can’t help but investigate.
In this modern version of classic film noir, we follow Porter as he is drawn into a very nasty case of sexual obsession and blackmail– one that threatens his job, his marriage, and his life.
Released in the U.S by Lionsgate Premiere, the movie has also been released by international distributors in nearly every country.
